What is screen advertising?
Screen advertising means running your ad on digital displays, either outdoor LED billboards beside roads or indoor TV-style screens in stores, restaurants and waiting rooms. Several advertisers share each screen in a rotating loop.
How much does it cost to advertise on a digital screen in Rockland?
Prices vary by operator, slot length (for example 10 or 20 seconds), number of screens and flight length. Weekly buys cost the most per week; monthly and multi-month terms cost less per month. We don't set prices; independent operators quote directly and in writing.
Can I advertise for just one week?
Many local networks sell weekly flights for events and sales. Ask for the weekly rate next to the monthly rate.
What file format do I need?
Usually a still image (JPEG or PNG) or a short silent video (MP4). Indoor screens are commonly 1920 by 1080 pixels; outdoor LED boards have their own dimensions. Always ask the operator for the exact spec before designing.
Do I need to design the ad myself?
Not necessarily. Many operators offer design help, sometimes included with longer terms. Ask whether design and revisions are included.
How often will my ad play?
It depends on the loop length, how many advertisers share it and the screen's hours. Ask for plays per day per screen, in writing.
Which is better, indoor or outdoor?
Outdoor reaches more different people; indoor gets more attention from fewer people. Many businesses use both. See combo packages.
How do I know my ad actually ran?
Ask for proof of play: photos or video of the ad on screen and a play log from the screen software.
How do I measure results?
Use a phone number, web address, QR code or promo code that appears only on the screen ad, and ask new customers how they heard of you. Give it at least four weeks.
Can I change my ad mid-campaign?
Usually yes; that's a main advantage of digital screens. Ask how much notice the operator needs and whether changes cost extra.
Are there ads the screens won't run?
Operators set their own content policies, and some networks serving family venues are strict. Ask before you design. All ads must also be truthful under FTC rules.
Who are you?
We're a free referral service. We are not a screen operator and we don't set prices. We pass your request to an independent local screen-advertising operator who serves the towns you want to reach.
